Introducing Our New EAL Coordinator: Mrs Esmaeily
We are delighted to welcome Mrs Esmaeily as our new English as an Additional Language (EAL) Coordinator at Alsop High School.
Mrs Esmaeily brings over 25 years of experience in education, beginning her teaching journey while studying industrial engineering at university, where she tutored maths. Since then, she has worked as a Kumon Maths Instructor, a GCSE Maths Tutor and for more than three years has supported students as an EAL Coordinator.
Her extensive experience in both maths teaching and language development, combined with her warm and dedicated approach, makes her a wonderful addition to the Alsop community. She is passionate about helping students thrive academically and feel confident in their language skills.
Below is a personal message from Mrs Esmaeily to all parents and carers:
Dear Parents and Carers,
My name is Mrs Esmaeily, and I am the new EAL (English as an Additional Language) Coordinator at Alsop High School. I am here to support your child as much as possible with their learning and language development.
As a school, we are happy to offer parents the opportunity to discuss any questions, feedback, or concerns regarding their child’s progress. We will also be providing more resources and activities that students can use at home to support their learning.
We kindly ask for your support in helping your child reach their goals. Please encourage them to complete their EAL work and return it to the EAL Hub on time.
If you have any questions, need additional support, or would like to share suggestions, please feel free to contact me by email: m.esmaeily@ahs.omegamat.co.uk.
Your support is greatly appreciated.
Kind regards,
Mrs Esmaeily
