Our Alsop netball teams recently took on Archbishop Beck in an exciting afternoon of competitive netball!

For our Year 7 pupils, this was their first-ever netball match representing the school! The girls represented Alsop with great pride, enthusiasm and determination. They worked brilliantly as a team, putting the skills they have been developing in training into a competitive game situation. It was a fantastic opportunity to gain confidence, learn different positions and develop their understanding of the rules. A brilliant first experience with lots of positives to build on!

Our combined Year 8–11 team also took to the court, competing in a highly competitive and energetic match. The girls showed fantastic teamwork, resilience and determination throughout, working hard for one another and demonstrating great sportsmanship.

Well done to everyone involved! You represented Alsop with pride and should be extremely proud of your efforts. We look forward to seeing the teams continue to develop throughout the season!
