Alsop High School students are celebrating their creativity and success after their high-quality artwork entries won prizes in Liverpool City Region art competitions.
Alsop students entered the 2026 Dot-Art Schools competition as part of an initiative to celebrate young people’s creativity, build confidence, and improve well-being. Three Alsop students are winners of this prestigious art competition.
Huge congratulations go to three Year Nine students who submitted winning entries. First prize was awarded to Anvia A, second prize to Mercie O, and third prize to Marcel S.
Anvia's drawing, titled Day of the Dead 1, will now form part of a high-profile public art exhibition at the Walker Art Gallery from Thursday 4th June to Sunday 5th July 2026. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for these young artists to see their work celebrated in one of the UK’s most iconic galleries.
We are delighted that the judges have recognised the high-quality artwork being produced here at Alsop. The winners have shown real talent and potential. We are proud to have gifted artists who have demonstrated a confident use of materials, technical skill, and an imaginative approach to their work.
Congratulations to all our students involved.
