Our recent school ski trip to Prato Nevoso, Italy, was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with fresh mountain air, stunning alpine scenery, and the excitement of a week filled with adventure on the slopes. Each morning, we woke up to a fresh layer of snow, making for perfect skiing conditions throughout our stay.

The progress of our pupils was nothing short of fantastic. Many of them arrived as complete beginners, unsure of their abilities, but by the end of the trip, they were confidently skiing down the slopes. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, everyone improved significantly, and it was incredible to witness their growing confidence and enthusiasm. Some even tackled more challenging runs, a testament to their hard work and determination.

Our accommodation was nothing less than excellent. The hotel provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that we felt comfortable and well-rested after long days on the slopes. The food was outstanding, offering a delicious variety of meals that kept us energized and satisfied. Each meal was a chance to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, and it quickly became one of the highlights of the trip.

Beyond skiing, we also enjoyed some exciting evening activities. One of the most thrilling experiences was snow tubing, which took place on a specially designed slope. Racing down on inflatable tubes was exhilarating, and everyone had a fantastic time laughing and competing against one another.

To add to our Italian adventure, we spent one evening at a traditional pizzeria, where we enjoyed delicious, freshly made pizzas. The authentic flavours and warm atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience and the perfect way to celebrate our progress on the slopes.

The highlight of the trip, however, was our final night of skiing down Mondolè Mountain under a full moon. Gliding down the slopes with the moonlight reflecting off the fresh snow created a magical and surreal experience. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that left everyone in awe. The combination of breath-taking scenery, peaceful surroundings, and the sense of achievement made it the perfect way to end an incredible trip.

Overall, the ski trip to Prato Nevoso was an unforgettable adventure that allowed students to develop new skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
